The committee and members of St Malachy’s Hurling & Camogie Club are saddened to hear of the sudden death of Dessie Elliott.

Dessie was a club member and the former Chairperson of our Club.  He was also involved with the club for decades both as a player and a great weekly supporter of our Lotto.  He could be found either watching matches from the sidelines; keeping up-to-date on our socials or indeed I’ve seen him delighted to be refereeing the underage games in the past. 

We extend our sympathy and condolences to all the Elliott family at this time.
